About myself:

I am a kind, purposeful and serious woman, determined in reaching my goals. I value my family a great deal however I am rather independent and have been living on my own since I was 18. I like being active and enjoy sports, especially karate which I started when I was a child, it keeps me fit and well. I am fond of reading Russian classic literature as well as visiting the cinema and theatre. I love the sea and I try to spend all my vacations there if I can. I like to travel and see new places and meet new people.

What I am looking for:

I would like to meet a man aged up to his mid forties, I hope he will be kind-hearted, caring and decent. He should be a loving person who values his family and will spend plenty of time with his future children. I feel more comfortable around older people, that is why my age range for my future husband is rather high...I hope to learn from a more experienced person. He should have a good sense of humour and be well educated. If he already has children from a previous marriage that would be fine with me.

Our comments about  Yelena:

For someone so young Yelena appears to know exactly what she wants to achieve in her life, she is quietly confident and at first I thought she was a little too serious...but as I spent more time with her she seemed to relax and I got to see a different side to her. Yelena told me that she does not have any preconceived ideas about her future life and decisions about work etc would depend on her circumstances and her husbands thoughts on that. She did write in her application that she would like up to 3 children...so be aware :-) I can say that it took a little time to warm to Yelena but I saw the real her, eventually, and I can say that she is a very likeable young woman with serious intentions to settle down and start a family.
